Patient-centric health care firms show their strength

Over the past year, the MSCI ACWI Health Care Index has underperformed the wider market. The 17 largest companies in the Index make up approximately 50% of it, and their performances have dragged down the Index. Companies including Novo Nordisk and United Health have taken valuation hits due to competition and investigations, respectively.
