Equity ETF flows reveal regional divide

Equity markets continued to grow in June, despite equity ETF inflows slowing by almost half of May’s value. Core equity ETFs saw high inflows, with investors opting for non-US options; once again, American options were hit by outflows. Market access and thematic ETFs surpassed $2 billion in net inflows, while smart beta and sustainable ETFs had net outflows of $2.9 billion and $1.5 billion, respectively.
